Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) with 11.2″ 2.5K OLED 120Hz display, Dolby Vision, Kompanio 1300T and Tab P11 (2nd Gen) announced


Lenovo at its IFA event introduced the 2nd Gen Tab P11 and P11 Pro models, as the successor to last year’s P11 and 2020’s P11 Pro model. The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) has an 11.2-inch OLED touchscreen with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch response. It also has a four-speaker system from JBL and has Dolby Atmos.

The company has confirmed at least two major Android OS upgrades, up to Android 14, and three years of security updates from time of launch for the tablets.

The Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) is powered by the latest MediaTek Kompanio 1300T octa-core processor that promises up to 120% improvements compared to Snapdragon 730G in the predecessor. It has a ThinkPad-inspired detachable keyboard with a built-in trackpad.

There is also an optional Lenovo Precision Pen 3 that can magnetically attach to the device for wireless charging and storage. The Bluetooth-enabled pen auto-pairs with the tablet and can be used to remotely control on-screen documents, music, images, and recordings using the customizable button on its side.

By simply holding the button while tapping the screen, users can quickly take notes with Lenovo Instant Memo even when the screen is locked, transcribing handwriting to text. It promises up to 14 hours of battery life, but doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor.

The Lenovo Tab P11 (2nd Gen) runs Android 12L, has an 11.5-inch LCD screen with120Hz refresh rate, is powered by MediaTek G99 octa-core processor compared to Snapdragon 662, with up to 6GB RAM, has a four-speaker system with Dolby Atmos.

It comes with optional accessories such as Lenovo Precision Pen 2 (2023), Lenovo Smart Charging Station 2, and Lenovo Folio Case with built-in kickstand and pen holder.

The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) comes in Storm Grey and Oat colours and is priced at starting at €499 (US$ 500 / Rs. 39,715 approx.). It will roll out starting from September 2022.

The Lenovo Tab P11 (2nd Gen) comes in Storm Grey and Sage colours and is priced at €299 (US$ 299 / Rs. 23,800 approx.). It will roll out starting in November 2022.
