Google Pixel 6a expected at Google I/O in May, roll out from July 28; Pixel Watch along with Pixel 7, 7 Pro in October

A recent report from Jon Prosser said that the Pixel 6a could get pushed to late July due to chip shortage, since it is expected to use the same Tensor GS101 chip that is present in the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. The YouTuber now says that the Pixel 6a will be announced at the Google I/O that is scheduled for May 11th and 12th.

However, as rumoured earlier, the sale of the Pixel 6a will begin July end – July 28th to be specific. Based on earlier rumours, the Pixel 6a is expected to feature a 12.2-megapixel IMX363 primary camera, 12-megapixel IMX386 ultra-wide camera and an 8-megapixel IMX355 front-facing camera.

The company is also expected to tease the most expected Pixel Watch at the Google I/O. Regarding the announcement, the Pixel Watch is expected to be unveiled only in October, along with the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro that surfaced recently.

According to earlier leaks, the Pixel Watch has the codename “rohan” and it will be offered in 3 colours: gray, black, and gold. The storage capacityis expected to be 32GB, which is double the amount of storage available on the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and is the same as the Apple Watch. The Pixel Watch is also expected to offer both cellular and non-cellular variants.
